As part of my job, I move around a lot. Although I am an American, I have lived overseas (both in Europe and Africa) for most of the last seventeen years.
I started entering my notes in earnest at this site in July 2007, just before I departed Libreville, Gabon to begin work at our United Nations Mission in Vienna, Austria. I am currently working in Almaty, Kazakhstan, so I mostly enter notes only when I am on a trip to the eurozone.
